Episode 21 - Kerry McGinn on Honoring Your Mind + Body Connection and Going All In

Personal Trainer, Yogi, and Physical Therapist Kerry McGinn from Live Good, Feel Good  joins me to talk about the importance of honoring oneself in order to fully live a life that feels good on all levels. Kerry shares the ups and downs of her journey, various relationships with exercise, injury and mystery illness and the role movement plays in her life today.

If you’re someone who is a past athlete, has had a varying relationship with exercise, or simply knows the feeling of being out of alignment - this episode is for you. Today we are joined by Boston’s Kerry McGinn of Live Good, Feel Good in a reflection on her own journey to fully honoring herself in order to embody a life that ‘actually feels good ‘. Kerry shares her adventure to quitting her job and starting her latest business venture to attempting to open up her new location amidst the 2020 quarantine putting a hold on her plans. 

Kerry truly depicts the beauty of living in the true essence of mind body connection. Holding that as one of her highest values, we chat through the varying relationships with exercise that Kerry has held throughout her life to dealing with injury as an athlete, mystery illness, loss of identity and the journey realigning with her true self. We go on to discuss the dialogue of the psyche, body acceptance and not allowing external or internal dialogues that aren’t of the greatest good to affect one’s state of mind. Kerry wraps up the episode talking about the bond that movement can bring to relationships and her true love for living a life fueled by her greatest passion.
