Ashley Lyon, a postpartum doula, joins me for a beautiful conversation about her journey to motherhood and the unexpected moments of depression and anxiety that came along for the ride. Throughout our conversation Ashley discusses her latest work as a postpartum doula and the importance of communication, boundaries, and self-care routines for new or expecting mamas.

Today we are joined by postpartum doula Ashley Lyon for an open look into motherhood and the realities that many face when entering this exciting journey. Ashley shares some of her own personal experiences with postpartum, breastfeeding and pregnancy,  and what she learned from this journey which later translated into her work as a postpartum doula and her new venture Bloom Mama.
