“I began to live my life with more intention and purpose. ”

Today Katelyn McJunkin joins us from Canada for conversation surrounding the topics of breathwork and emotional wellness, and how the two not only enhanced her own life’s experiences but truly shifted her reality and daily life. Katelyn discusses the history of the breath, the different types of breathwork, and her own training and incorporations of the practice. The discovery of breathwork changed Katelyn’s life on a mental, physical, emotional and spiritual level, to which she is now able to help individuals lead more aligned and authentic lives.

After three years of trying to find the root of her depression and anxiety, Katelyn realized she was just treating her symptoms and not the root to the problem. This self-realization led her to practice of Pause Breathwork, which she describes as the piece she had always been missing in her life. We go on to discuss what an online session of breathwork would look like, some tips for those who may be new to the practice, who should and should not use it, what to expect from one’s first session, and the main benefits. Throughout the episode we talk about how the power of breathwork allows one’s mindset to shift, providing the courage and opportunity to later learn how to trust in oneself.
